Last weekend, we made a special trip home for an early surprise 50th birthday party for Pappy Bill.
Surprisingly enough, we managed to actually keep it a secret (& if you know my Mom, sister, & myself, you know how we can't keep secrets at all!)
Even with all the party festivities, we managed to spend some quality time with Pappy Rodney & Grama Sue. (Somehow they managed to hide from the camera this trip, but I'll make a mental note of it for next time!) They probably miss out on the camera because Daddy likes to do crazy things with Ella while we are at the Green's, like weigh her on the wii fit. She wouldn't hold still, so Daddy held her and the wii cleverly realized that Daddy had gained about 13.5 pounds in just a few minutes...
We managed to squeeze in a few other quick stops between all the running. Ella had to show her Great-Grandma Green how well she could sit up. We'll make sure Great-Pappy Green gets to see next time! (PS. Hope you are feeling better!)
The last stop before home was to visit Ella's Great-Great Grandma Hamm. She was starting to get a little cranky because it was nap time and I'm sure she realized she was about to take a 3 hour car ride...
