Crazy Week

What a crazy week!!  We had some SEVERE storms Wednesday afternoon causing us to lose power from 4pm until 3am (originally, we were told we would get power back until midnight on Saturday).  Mommy freaked out when she saw the neighbors tree branches touch the ground and took Miss Ella to the basement.  Poor Ella doesn't seem to care for the basement, thunder, or the lack of lighting.  Daddy's work lost power too which means he didn't get home from work until midnight!  That's the latest he's been out since the little one came along!!  Luckily, we have good friends in Wheeling that left us crash at their house for a few hours.

Thursday, Mommy & Ella hosted their first play date.  Due to all the storming we had to move inside, but a good time was had by all!

A is so cute his Momma is going to have a hard time keeping all the girls away from him!!  We even made a new friend this week.  She is only a month younger than Ella!  They were both so cute!  And of course right after the picture, they both spit up. 

Daddy has been working some crazy hours this week.  Friday morning was the first we have seen him since Tuesday!  Unfortunately, he had to go back to work about 6:30 Friday evening :(  Hopefully, we will get to spend some time with him at some point this weekend.

Due to the lack of Daddy, Mommy has been taking lots of videos so he wouldn't miss out on the big events of the week...CRAWLING!!



She has also uttered the word..."mum"  At first I thought it was in my head but Stacy heard it too.  Then Daddy heard it that evening!  Of course she only says it when she is crying but who cares if she is crying as long as she says it!!


We have been using the jumperoo for over a month now.  Most of the time Ella just chills in it and plays with the toys mounted to it.  This week she has started jumping.  And I do mean jumping!  She was in it for almost 2 hours the other night jumping like crazy.  I was tired from just watching her.



Then Daddy finally came home and decided all that bouncing looked pretty fun...
