Play Time!

We tried to enjoy the nice weather with our friends at the park but the early spring rains showed up and kicked us indoors.  The kids didn't mind.  They still go to run around and get their crazies out.

Ella loves rainbows.  They fascinate her.  We learned about rainbows and how to make them on Sesame Street.  When you draw her a rainbow, she says "no, I wanna see a real rainbow."  Well this is as good as it gets.  Every afternoon just before Daddy gets home, the sun shines in the front windows and hits the fish tank just perfect.  So we wait each day for the real rainbow to appear and then watch the fish shadows on the wall.

Ella is loving the spring days we've been having.  In fact I'm certain, by the meltdowns when its time to come in or leave the park, that she doesn't think we are going to let her out again.

"Mollie, want a cheez-it?"

We made a few St. patty's day shamrocks to celebrate... I didn't think green beer would be appropriate, it was only 10am!

We managed to drag Daddy out of bed after working lots of long hours at work to go to the Pittsburgh Zoo.  It was the hottest day of the year and our big girl did a great job walking around.

Grandma and Pappy came for a visit and we took them to the playground.  Ella (& Daddy) showed off their awesome slide skills.

Ella's friend, Abby, spent the day with us.  The girls had a fabulous time playing together.

Summer round up- June

Ok so we have been more than slacking.  We are just lazy now.  I promise to be much more motivated in September!!  Anyway here is a glimpse of our summer and our big girl.

June...

Ella got her first taste of watermelon, yummy!

Grandma & Pappy go to the Oglebay Zoo

She really loves that turtle.  Hugs it every time we go to the zoo!

 "Ella's don-key"
 "Ella's new seat"
"Reading Good Night Russell the Sheep"

She has a love for the dirty clothes basket and for unfolding the clean clothes.

Great-grandma Sharon and great-pappy Boyd came with Mimi to help us pack.  Packing was so much fun.

In fact, packing is so much fun that Ella decide to pack herself!

It's family time...

We've had a few visits from the grandparents (and Aunt Jenn & Caleb) this month.  Grandma and Grandpap Green came a at the beginning of the month.  Ella showed them how much she likes to sit on EVERYTHING and even showed off her farm friends.

Mimi, Pappy Bill, Aunt Jenn, and (baby) Caleb came to visit in the middle of the month.  The kiddos are getting so big.  I just can't believe it.  They were so cute poking at each other.

We kept trying to get caleb to crawl from the dining room into the living room but he didn't make much progress as a certain toddler kept running up to him and sitting down right in front of him.

Ella loves to hide between the wall and the stereo cabinet.  She can just barely squeeze between the radiator and cabinet to get back there.  She was having a little trouble getting in and out with the baby and her pot belly!

She already has Mimi wrapped around her little finger.  Ella would push herself backwards (because she can only go backwards!) across the basement floor and then yell for Mimi to come push her back.  Caleb eventually realized that chasing Ella was quite fun.

Come visit us again soon!!
