Christmas in PA

We celebrated Christmas in PA last weekend.  We made a quick stop, due to a lovely meltdown, at Grandma Mary Lee & Pappy JR's.  We got there just in time to try out Grandma Mary lee's famous pink cookies.  They got the Ella seal of approval!

After a much needed nap and a change in attitude, we headed off to Mimi's for our big Christmas bash.   There were barely any gifts involved and there sure was a lot of not so yummy food...wink, wink.  Its a good thing we drove both cars home!

 Why, what else but a gas can.  Bet you would have never called that one!

And Mimi got her spot carpet and upholstery cleaner.  Only Mimi would be excited about cleaning supplies for Christmas...

I know, you've been stalking the blog enough to know our lives not only revolve around Ella but Sesame Street as well.  Well, meet the latest and greatest (barf) from 123 Sesame Street...Abby Cadabby.

Trying to get a picture of the monkey slippers, I said " Ella show mommy your slippers."  Little did I know she was about to shove them in my face for a close up.

Somehow these 2 always end up half naked by the end of the night!

Needless to say, Ella slept well that night in the orphanage at Grandma and Pappy's.  The next morning we packed it all up and headed home but not until we had some extra play time with Caleb.  Daddy read them a Halloween story.

She really wasn't being mean.  She just wanted to hold hands!

Caleb brought his special Santa along to show Ella.  She wasn't so sure at first so Caleb held her hands and showed her how to dance.  Of course, the camera was in the car and we missed the best of it.  This will have to do...

Poor Ella bug was so tired when we finally hit the road, she fell asleep almost instantly.
