We met up with Zavier's Aunt Kate while we were at the zoo and she showed us some special animals up close!
Of course Ella's favorite turtle is right outside the barn so we had to make a stop. She had all the kids convinced the turtle was pretty awesome. And they all took their turn giving the poor turtle hugs and kisses.
Then it was off to the Children's Museum. The kids had a blast. They played in the garage and workshop, ripped and glued paper, played with playdough and painted.
Then it was off to their favorite part of the day...the water tables!
The whole group, minus me because I'm taking the picture, waiting for the elevator to pick us up. We only waited 45 minutes. Good things the kids were distracted with snacks and napping!
Sometimes when Ella is extra good and Mom is feeling extra nice, Ella gets some pretty awesome snacks...like this wild berry popsicle made by Mom, of course!
Then it was off to the Washington County Fair. This is one BIG fair. There were cows, goats, pigs, horses and a petting zoo. Not to mention all the rides that cost a fortune to ride (good thing we already knew our little munchkin isn't a fan of amusement park rides!)
It was impossible to get a decent picture of the girl! She just kept running back and forth pointing to the cows.

We finally had some "cooler" weather and ate our first dinner out on the deck. Wondering what we had...corn on the cob of course!
Yes, she ate 2 ears plus some potatoes and some pork.
We ended August with a play date with our friends at the park.

And there you have it...our outings as of the end of August! A bunch of videos to come and I promise I'll keep things up to date in September!!
