Well, after weeks of stress and bickering, we packed Ella bug up and headed from our old home to our new home.
We arrived to find garbage...piles and piles of garbage left by the previous homeowners. Thankfully, all the garbage was removed by their realtor. Unfortunately, she forgot to take all the nasty dirt and grime with her. It took 6 women and 12 hours to get the house livable! I can't even begin to describe the grossness.
This was just the junk they left in the kitchen...
The truck only half loaded with their garbage. When they finished loading it, the garage was level with the top of the cab.
The stuff that didn't fit on the first truck.
So without further ado, welcome to our new home...please ignore the random junk!

(We do have an upstairs full of bedrooms and closets but I'm too embarrassed to show you pictures of them just yet!)
We have been getting lots of visitors in our back yard.

Yep, that's our fire pit...
Looking out our kitchen window Sunday morning!
And a few times a day we get to watch 2 beautiful black horses out our front window. Ella's preferred way of letting us know the horses are out is frantic pointing and saying "kneeee" over and over. As you can see we are adjusting to the move. Many boxes still need unpacking but what doesn't get unpacked the first year goes to the garbage, right?
Was alot of work to clean and get you moved and unpacked somewhat, but it was worth it you have a beautiful place.
ReplyDeleteIt took 6 women to to do the cleaning???
ReplyDeleteI guess the pukey stove cleaned itself by magic!
