O Christmas tree, O Christmas tree

As many of you know, it isn't time for Christmas until we have a tree.  And not just any old tree you pick up at the gas station or one of those fake things.  We get the real deal.  We bundle up, we search and search for the perfect tree, we cut it down, we drag it out, we cram the biggest trees into the smallest of cars, we barely get it through the front door.  That's the way we do Christmas trees in the Green house.  Daddy could probably care less, but he knows it is an important part of the Holidays for Mommy as this is what she did every year growing up.

So on one COLD COLD December day, we bundled our little munchkin up and off we went. She had a blast getting into her snow gear in the car.  She loved bouncing around in her "snow chariot", we sang a few carols along the way, and watched a frisky black cat pounce between the trees.

Then we got down to business and found her the perfect tree, Daddy cut it down, drug it across the mountain, crammed it in the car, and we headed home.

Time to decorate!!!
Ella hanging her first ornament.  She wasn't very happy when she had to let the ornament on the tree.  We had to take a short break in the middle so Ella could show us how she could stand up and walk to us from her toy chair.
