Ella bug had a fabulous thanksgiving week. That's right, holidays aren't just 1 day day with a baby. We have a whole week of holiday fun! Fun for baby, not so fun for the busy Mama. Upon arrival to central PA, we had a very special, long overdue visit with my Aunt Millie & Uncle Rick. Of course, they went right by me and snagged the little one. She was in love with Uncle Rick at first sight.
And they came bearing early Christmas presents for the babes. And she loved them even more!
We were up bright & early for Ella's 1st turkey Day! It wasn't really bright out but it was early! (Thank you, Pappy) The poor girl had no clue about the feasting that was to be had.
She even showed off some new tricks. Great Pappy Green just couldn't stop laughing when I went to put the tray on the booster seat and said "arms up" and Ella's arm shot straight up. The girl knows how to eat thats for sure!
Ella and Pappy ate so much, they both needed a midday nap. (This is what you get for waking your granddaughter at 6am on a HOLIDAY!)
Ella got up from her cat nap just in time to see Lizzie. They are so cute! While Lizzie was patiently waiting for Ella to get up she kept shhh-ing everyone because the baby was sleeping. Lizzie was full of hugs and kisses for Ella.
And when they got tired of all the hugging...we gave them the electronics and they were happy as could be.
Time for round #2. Off to Mimi's we went. Oh the craziness. Ella managed to find the kids and just chilled with them. Apparently, she is a game lover (unlike her Mommy). She just sat and played with the Apples-to-Apples cards for what seemed like forever.
We spent Friday morning relaxing. Then we went out to dinner with Mimi, Pappy Bill, Aunt Jenn, Uncle Aaron and Baby Caleb. It was Mimi's birthday after all. Ella hasn't quite learned that staring at the strangers next to us isn't very polite. At least most of her dinner ended up in her belly and not on the floor!
