Look at me, I'm so cute!!

Tuesday was so warm I packed Ella up in as little clothing as possible, convinced her to get in the stroller, and walked her all the way to the mailbox...not a short hike in 80* weather.  We were both drenched by the time we got back.  But look how cute she is in her little hat!! (she wasn't so sure about it)

When we got back and cooled off, we had playtime!  She finally held her favorite rattle and even gave it a quick shake!  Of course, I wasn't prepared for her to actually participate in the rattle shaking event so I missed getting the first one on video. 





We also played with her new mirror.  She seems to actually like it!  She has no clue that the cute face looking back at her is her own face. 

She has also been playing on her activity mat daily.  She seems to like it as long as Mommy plays with the toys for her!

Poor Ella is also forced to endure "tummy time."  Tummy time is starting to go much better, although it still isn't her favorite thing.

Easter

Easter was a big day for Ella.  She got a beautiful basket from the Easter bunny and made it though her first big holiday!  We had lunch with Daddy's family and dinner with Mommy's family.  Poor Ella got passed around like a rag doll!!  There is no way I can possibly post photos with everyone without crashing the blog.  If your picture doesn't appear below, have no fear, we love you just as much as everyone else and I promise you will make the blog eventually!!

2 months

Dear Everyone, I'm officially 2 months today!  I'm getting so big and everyday I can do something new.  Today, Mommy sat me up on the couch for some 2 month photos and I really impressed her when I didn't just fall right over!  Earlier this week, I managed to hold onto my rattle for just a second and I even gave it a quick shake.  Mommy & Daddy think I am just so cute...I'm not sure they know what to do with me!  I hope you enjoy my photos! love, Ella

Ella's 1st Overnight Trip

It only took me 3 days to get ready but we managed to pack up everything but the kitchen sink for our first trip to Roaring Spring, PA. Surprisingly, we actually had room to spare in the CR-V...not the case on the way back though!

We had to make a quick stop at Mimi & Pappy Bill's to pick up a few things but we weren't getting out of the car, just a quick drive by...as you can see that clearly wasn't what Mimi had in mind!

The next stop was for Miss Ella to finally meet the rest of her Great Grandparents! She loved cuddling with Great Grandma Mary Lee. She had her to sleep in no time! I think Great Grandpa Green got a few smiles from her before he & Daddy were off to set up the webcam!  Ella also got to meet Great Aunt Becky, Great Uncle Don, Matt, Sierra, & her little cousin Lizzie. Lizzie is so cute and makes poor Ella look tiny!

Later that evening, Ella met Great Aunt Carol, Great Uncle George, & some of the Berkheimers. Even with such busy day, Ella still made time to play with Pappy Rodney & Grandma Susie!

Saturday, Ella met her great great Grandma Hamm and we round up the rest of us for a 5 generations photo!

Daddy thought he would have some fun and try out Mimi's new swing set...

While we were at Mimis, we managed to squeeze in a quick visit with Julie & Marissa & Pap & Gram Thompson.  We even convinced Uncle Jason to hold Ella for a few minutes before he left!

Daddy's future guitarist

So Daddy's dream is for Mommy to go to work everyday so he can quit his job and start up a bar band. He is hoping his little girl will become an awesome drummer since good drummers are hard to find. Mommy isn't real thrilled about the drummer idea or the bar band or going back to work for that matter!! I guess Daddy might have to settle for some weekend guitar time with his little guitarist instead...

A visit with the Easter bunny

After a little persuading, Mommy convinced Daddy that Ella needed to go see the Easter Bunny, after all this might be the only picture for a few year that she isn't crying in!!  I must say she was the cutest baby there and the only one not crying!!

Crib Time
