Play Time!

We tried to enjoy the nice weather with our friends at the park but the early spring rains showed up and kicked us indoors.  The kids didn't mind.  They still go to run around and get their crazies out.

Ella loves rainbows.  They fascinate her.  We learned about rainbows and how to make them on Sesame Street.  When you draw her a rainbow, she says "no, I wanna see a real rainbow."  Well this is as good as it gets.  Every afternoon just before Daddy gets home, the sun shines in the front windows and hits the fish tank just perfect.  So we wait each day for the real rainbow to appear and then watch the fish shadows on the wall.

Ella is loving the spring days we've been having.  In fact I'm certain, by the meltdowns when its time to come in or leave the park, that she doesn't think we are going to let her out again.

"Mollie, want a cheez-it?"

We made a few St. patty's day shamrocks to celebrate... I didn't think green beer would be appropriate, it was only 10am!

We managed to drag Daddy out of bed after working lots of long hours at work to go to the Pittsburgh Zoo.  It was the hottest day of the year and our big girl did a great job walking around.

Grandma and Pappy came for a visit and we took them to the playground.  Ella (& Daddy) showed off their awesome slide skills.

Ella's friend, Abby, spent the day with us.  The girls had a fabulous time playing together.
