Happy 4th!

We headed to Oglebay to meet some friends for fireworks.  We played for a little and then the storm clouds rolled in.  We ran to the car...well ran as fast as you can with a preschooler & baby & 50 bags of stuff (not really 50 but in the rain it sure felt like it!) I'm sure we looked like a hot mess trotting down the road.  We had a very disappointed little girl when we explained there would be no fireworks.  Bring on the tears and we did what any good parents would do...sat in the van for 45 minutes praying there would be fireworks. Finally booms were heard and we had a great show from the back of the van!

We spent the 4th of July lounging around the house & play at Oglebay for some extra fun.  We made our annual summer paddle boat trip & played at the playground before heading to our favorite firework spot...good ole Lowes!
