We spent Easter weekend in PA surrounded by family. Buggy (I don't know why I started calling John that but it seems to be sticking) had lots of family to meet and an Easter Bunny to wait for. Ella was prepared to make the most of the weekend & make this our best Easter yet.
We kicked off out trip with dinner at Mimi's. Beef & noodles, YUM!!
Those 2 crack me up. They decided they needed to "nap"...first I had to find them pillows, then toys, then they needed a blanket.
Meet Baby Eli!
The kiddos patiently waiting their first Easter baskets of the weekend.
There's Caleb's...
and there's Ella's. Her face was classic.
We spent Saturday morning visiting with the Green's. Buggy barely got out of the seat before Grandma Mary lee was there to whisk him away. He smiled & cooed and had a good time. Ellabug entertained Pappy JR for awhile.
The kiddos all ready for the Easter bunny to come fill their baskets. We even left him some carrots to snack on!
Ella & Grandma on Easter morning.
"Look, the Easter bunny ate all his carrots!
Ella was so excited about her basket. The looks & squeals were priceless. Her favorite gift...Boots the monkey.
She found a few more baskets sitting on the kitchen table. And had her annual Easter breakfast of...chocolate. This year she shared a chocolate egg with Daddy. Such a sweet girl!
Then all the festivities began! Ella patiently waited for the arrival of Lizzie so they could play & find eggs. Aunt Becky read Ella a story & she left Uncle Don pick on her. She giggled and passed time on Pappy JR's lap.
Lorelei & John chilled in their seats during Easter lunch. Aunt Becky distracted the girls while we hid the eggs inside. It amazes me how well these 2 play together. And then it was finally time to find eggs
Boy, that was exciting!
We headed off for Easter dinner, round 2, at Mimi's house. Buggy had lots more people to meet! Great Grandma Hamm was waiting for us and so were lots of great aunts & uncles.
As you can see, we had a fabulous Easter surrounded by an abundance of family! We love you all!
