Baby Green #2

FINALLY...the post you've all been waiting for!

Its been a LONG 9 months of waiting for a big sister and the time has finally come...not by Baby Brother's choice.  He's getting evicted from his nice warm cozy home 3 day late.

Here's Mommy at 39 weeks...

Mommy & Daddy had to be at the hospital bright and early to get the ball rolling.  

The OB floor was hopping after a busy night but we finally got a room.

Things progressed a lot like Ella's delivery.  Nothing, nothing, severe back pain, epidural...

 I had a nice nap planned but Baby Brother had different plans...

John Robert Green was born at 1:07pm Wednesday, January 23, 2013.  Daddy got to cut the cord this time!

After Baby J had his first yummy meal (which according to the Grandmothers, too way too long), Daddy & Baby headed off to the nursery to get us some stats.  A healthy 7 pound 5 ounces & 20.5 inches.

THe Grandma's finally got there chance to hold the baby after not so patiently waiting...

We got settled and sent Daddy to brign Big Sister Ella for her first visit.  I've never seen the girls eyes light up like that.  Baby Brother, or John Robert (insert giggle) as she likes to call him, was finally here.  Her only request..."Can I hold him?"

 Baby J even brought her a pretty "big Sister" necklace!

Pappy finally got his turn.

And Big Sister even brought a present for baby brother...

 Unfortunately, this would be big sisters only visit thanks to the nice stomach bug that decided to visit, again.

Miss Erin came to take photos of Baby J so Mommy & Daddy wouldn't have to worry about it so much.  You can see her fabulous photos here.

After 2 long days without much sleep, the snow arrived & it was time to go home.  It was a very SLOW drive home.

 Ella made baby brother a nice sign for the door.
