Summer round up- July

Of course, July was our "big" move.  We spent lots and lots of time packing, signing papers, cleaning, moving, unpacking, and cleaning some more!  You've already seen the 4th of July and pictures of the new house so here are some pictures of the fun, not related to moving, things we did.


We had our very first play date at the new house.  We didn't have any furniture but we have steps...

 (yes, she is drinking the water from the hose.  I did it as a child and I'm just fine.)

Then Aunt Jenn, Caleb, Mimi, and great grandma & pappy Thompson came to see the new house.  These 2 kiddos are just too cute.

He is going to be an ornery one!!  Mimi taught the kids to spin on the sit-n-spin.  Poor Caleb wasn't having as much fun as Ella and kept leaving to explore his new surroundings.  Ella just wanted her "kiki" to come spin with her.

 Due to all the packing and unpacking, Ella has been getting to spend some extra time in front of the TV.  This is her favorite way to watch "TB" as she calls it.

I thought I had a few years until Ella would want to be trendy.  Turns out, she is starting early.  She LOVES her silly bands and wears the entire box at one time...because that's the cool thing to do.

We even left the comfy AC and made another trip to the pool.

We had our first corn on the cob for the summer.  We cut Ella's off the cob thinking it would be easier for her.  She wanted no part of the cut up corn, so Daddy helped her out.  "yummy, corn" she says.
