Did the Easter bunny come visit you? Ella really didn't want the Easter bunny to come gt her but she was more than happy with the totally awesome Easter basket that was waiting for her Easter morning.
She got a magic princess wand,
a reeses pieces filled carrot,
some really cool sun glasses,
egg shaped sidewalk chalk,
a Dora book, and lots of other really cool things!
She found a basket ont eh kitchen table from Grandma & Pappy filled with all kinds of chocolate, change, & a travel aquadoodle. The girl has just learned what a quarter is and now thinks she is rich. Oh to be young again!
Yes, that's right she is having chocolate while still in her pj's and yes it was her breakfast. I mean its only fair to have chocolate for every meal on Easter! See look how happy she is. You cna't tell that face no on a holiday.
After we finally got moving and got our car all packed for our trip home, we headed off for the first of our Easter feasts. Ella got to play with her cousin Lizzie for the first time in what seems like forever. The girls played like they have been friends forever.
They got to hang out with Pappy JR in the den while they were eating their strawberries.
Then we headed outside for another egg hunt. Ella was finally getting the hang of it and exclaimed "what's in this egg!" as soon as she found her first egg.
Those eggs were really hiding!
She ended up with lots of loot to snack on all day.
After a snuggle with pappy JR, we headed off to our next stop....dinner at Mimi's.
Ella found another Easter filled Elmo bucket at Mimis full of bubbles and....
Easter grass. Who knew grass could be so fun.
Caleb was trying to sneak ina snuggle but Ella was having no part of the cousin love.
We headed outside for our last egg hunt. She was really getting the hang of this egg hunt thing now. She was the egg hoarder. The other kids didn't stand a chance but she was more than willing to share her eggs once she found them.
And then after a long fun filled exhausting day, we headed back to the good ole WV in the dark. Monday morning was a bore with no eggs to be found.
